We are the London Tobacco Alliance (LTA) supporting Stop Smoking London in its aim to make London smokefree.
We are the partnership that will make London smokefree by 2030. The London Tobacco Alliance has been created to combine and accelerate efforts to eliminate smoking in London giving us the greatest opportunity to reduce health inequalities. We exist to ensure becoming a smokefree city remains a top public health priority for London.
Who we are
More broadly we are local authorities, directors of public health, healthcare professionals, sector experts, volunteers, councillors, politicians and advisors – coming together with a strategic aim to make London smokefree by 2030.

Our purpose
London Tobacco Alliance will lead the way.
We will ensure that becoming smoke free remains a top public health priority for London, supporting its aim to be the world’s healthiest city. LTA partners will prioritise the health and wellbeing of Londoners to ensure children born today will not be tempted to ever start smoking.
We want to build momentum and create strong partnerships to help make London a smoke free city.
Through working together at borough, organisational, multi-sector, and individual levels we will create a city that is smoke free. We imagine a London where life expectancy is on the rise and every community is achieving the same high levels of good health and wellbeing, wealth, and happiness.
The LTA is a partnership working together to end smoking and improve the lives of Londoners.
London needs to do better; we need to work hard to ensure everyone regardless of what borough they live in has access to the support, help and information they need to quit smoking. Through the London Tobacco Alliance we have a real opportunity to support the communities who need us most and to support them in facing addiction.
